Emma Schlachter grew up on the Central Coast of NSW. After completing her Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts at the University of New England, she moved to Cooma in early 2007 where she began both her graduate diploma in legal practice and worked at Blaxland, Mawson & Rose. Emma was admitted as a solicitor in late 2007.

 

Emma is the Young Lawyer representative for the Far South Coast Law Society. She regularly acts as the Legal Aid Duty Solicitor for Cooma Local Court, and previously in Bombala. Emma practices predominantly in the areas of criminal law and civil litigation but also undertakes conveyancing work and wills and probate.
